Yup, another give birth then push the baby back in dream

I haven't had a good dream about baby in a while. I was beginning to think that my sleep pattern of waking up every two to three hours or so was causing me not to dream. Then last night, another baby dream snuck into my slumber.

I can't remember the entire dream. All I remember is the baby started to kick my tummy. We could visibly see the baby's hands, feet and entire head (with facial features) as they pushed against my skin. We started to play with the baby's hands, its fingers were squeezing around mine. We looked at its feet and tickled them. Then, I wanted to hold the baby...so I tried to hold them while they were in my stomach. This didn't satisfy me, so I gave birth to the baby to hold them. After a while, we realized it was time to put baby back as the baby wasn't fully developed and needed to stay in my tummy for a while longer. Then, I woke up.

I have heard of other women having dreams like this one. The birth experience is not scary, nor is the fact that my baby isn't fully developed. I think these mean I am excited to meet my baby, but understand it isn't time yet. It should be interesting to see how these dreams change the closer we get to my due date.

Pregnant women in my dreams

Last night I had another odd pregnancy dream. I was at a gas station, with lots of green land around it. There were 7 or 8 other pregnant women there too, walking and waddling around. My mom wanted me to pick up subway for her, she ordered a sandwich I had never heard of before. The meat on the sandwich looked like wishbones from a turkey, but with meat on it. (Kind of like U shaped ribs). She also wanted it to be 18 inches, not 12 like a standard subway sandwich. I had a really hard time saying the order, but they understood what she wanted. I thought it was odd she was going to eat right through the bones, but she said it was what she wanted.

When we were going to leave, some random guy who was with us needed to use the bathroom. As he walked back there, the owner showed us to a panel in the wall with buttons on it. Each button played a different spooky Halloween sound in the bathroom. Mom and I thought it was the funniest thing in the world. So we hit all the buttons.

Then, I woke up.

At least this dream wasn't scary. Just odd.

Scary Dream

OK, so last night was the worst dream so far. I can't include all the details because it freaks me out just thinking about it.

I went into labor at 30 weeks, Jeff was at the hospital with me, but had to run to the restroom, so he wasn't there for the birth. The baby was taken away and we all went home for the night. The next morning, I asked my friend if the baby was ok. She said the doctors said the baby couldn't see...his eyes weren't developed yet. She also informed me that my friend Mike named the baby Timmy (Which I hated). But they wouldn't let me change the name back.

I made my friend take me to the hospital to get my baby. We had to stop at work, which was across the street from the hospital to get the baby seat. Once we arrived at the hospital, Bob Saget, (yes, the actor) who was the doctor in my dream, said my baby was blind. Bob then saw a pair of glasses on another child and it "dawned" on him that the baby might be able to see with glasses.

The whole time through the dream I was frantic, but no one else seemed concerned. VERY DISTURBING!

I'm on a boat

Well, these dreams just keep coming!

During last night's dream, I was boat shopping with Andrea from Beverly Hills, 90201. We had to find a sail boat to ride around on to go from house to house (the streets were water) and find the boat we wanted to buy. Suddenly, we were late for an event and we needed to take the next boat we saw, which happened to be a speed boat. I was worried, how would my baby be safe on this boat? I was almost to full term in the dream and I didn't have a baby life jacket! Do they make life jackets small enough for newborns, I wondered? I started to pack a diaper bag, just in case the baby came while we were out on our trip on the boat, but all of the clothes were for 3-6 month olds, not newborns! I was panicked. Then, I woke up.

Dreams...Boy or girl?

Well, these dreams just keep happening! Last night I had a dream we had another ultrasound and while we were examining the picture it became VERY obvious we are having a boy. Hmmm, what do these dreams mean?

More dreams

Well, I have read that during pregnancy you have bizarre dreams due to the hormones, but last nights was down right scary. I woke up in a hospital bed, with no clue how I got there. I was 5 months pregnant. I remember my tummy was hurting before I got to the hospital. The doctor came in and told me I had fissures on my ovaries and that next time I could just drink a pepsi and relax vs. coming in and wasting 8 hours of their time. (He was so mean to me.) Then, he told me it would be $1200 out-of-pocket for the time. I was so worried...how was I going to tell Jeff we couldn't buy Christmas presents this year because I ended up in the hospital.

When I got to the payment counter, the woman knocked the bill down to $700, but they didn't offer a payment plan. Then, a girl I went to school with came over with her new baby "Peanut", who looked like an alien crossed with a peanut. The baby was far too small and I had to pretend like it was cute when really it was the scariest baby I had ever seen.

Man- what a crazy dream!

Dreams, dreams, dreams

December 11, 2009- WOW- I have read about the vibrant dreams pregnant women have and am now starting to experience them at full force!

Dream #1
Last night I had a dream I was carring triplets. I had to keep a monitor on my arm that displayed the babies heartbeats. Jeff and I were upset we didn't have 3 names picked out yet. Each time I would look at the monitor, the heartbeat rate would change...sometimes all three would be the same, sometimes they would be different. I was not upset we were having triplets, just upset that I am so far along and just found out!

Dream #2
The night before I dreamt I was at work and the baby needed to be fed. So I gave the baby and a bottle to one of our support guys (who I never talk to) and had him feed the baby. When I walked back to my cube, two more people were sitting in it. Then a good friend showed up and told me she was bringing her ex-boyfriend to my house to throw cake off my roof. I was not pleased. I was very upset with her bringing her ex to our cake throwing party! :)

We will see what kind of dreams I keep having and if anything repeats itself.

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!
